Prelude

For those cast in deep shadows,
pray thee for peace.
If life so kind can make a man weep,
The life itself is invaluably deep.
For all beauties lies dark demons,
Awaiting to terrify those who bleed.
Yet I cannot see why must,
The mirror reflect those we cannot trust.
Image is one thing; the mind is another,
Why must we torture when we can gather?
I shall say no more, for time is young.
Life is fleeting, yet it is not done.
Twenty times twenty, as decades pass,
Let's embrace all that the sun can cast.
